Selby Family Clinic is nestled among gum trees in the Dandenong Ranges, just 5 minutes from Belgrave and 45 minutes from the CBD. Selby is a semi-rural area with young families, retirees and alternative lifestyle enthusiasts. We offer our patients a variety of services and facilities to assist with their medical treatment.
The practice comprises 8 General Practitioners and 1 Registrar who practice quality medical care for patients incorporating best practice principles and up to date knowledge. They are supported by 3 practice nurses, a practice manager, office manager, 2 receptionists, on-site pathology, psychology and sleep studies clinic.

Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of our practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised members of staff.

Expected Patient Behaviour

Selby Family Clinic is committed to producing a high quality of care to our patients. The relationship between the patients and those working in the surgery is an important issue and is a two-way process.  Therefore we have a ZERO TOLERANCE approach to any verbal, aggressive or violent abuse/behaviour towards our staff or other patients. We respectfully advise you that abuse and/or violence will not be tolerated.  Such behaviour has a marked effect on staff and other patients and therefore, where such behaviour is observed, we reserve the right to withdraw from treating the patient and ensuring removal of those involved from the premises. If staff feel threatened verbally or physically, the police will be called.

We welcome your feedback on all aspects of our service, so feel free to talk to any of our staff or use the Suggestion box in the waiting room.  Patient satisfaction affects health outcomes and our practice acknowledges that despite our best intentions, complaints may arise. Our practice deals with complaints in a courteous and understanding manner.
